This page explains the AtlasCare Transport text-message program and shows exactly how AtlasCare asks for consent. It is published for customers and for carrier and messaging-provider review. The examples below use sample data only.

1. The program

  • Messages about: transportation estimates you request, booking coordination and confirmations, pickup and arrival updates, trip reminders, schedule changes, payment notices, receipts, and customer support
  • Not included: promotional or marketing messages
  • Frequency: message frequency varies with your requests and trips. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Optional: consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request quotes and arrange rides by phone at (971) 287-7766 or by email.

2. How you opt in on our website

Sign up directly: anyone can opt in at atlascaretransport.com/text-updates — a short form with a mobile number field and the unchecked consent box shown below. The same box also appears on Request a Trip when you choose Text as your contact method.

On Request a Trip, the Contact Information step asks how you would like AtlasCare to reach you. If you choose Text, a separate, optional consent box appears. It is never checked for you. You can still choose Call or Email and submit your request without it.

AtlasCare keeps a record of the wording you agreed to, when, how, and the mobile number it applies to. Consent covers only the number it was given for. A caregiver who opts in receives texts at the caregiver's own number.

3. How you opt in by phone

If you call AtlasCare, a team member reads this script before any text is sent and records your answer. We text you only if you say yes.

4. Opting out, help and rejoining

STOPOpt out of all AtlasCare program texts. You'll get one confirmation. Your trip is not canceled. Other opt-out words (UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) and plain requests like "please stop texting me" also work. HELPGet help by text, or call (971) 287-7766. STARTSign up by text, or rejoin after opting out (see below).

6. Your information

AtlasCare does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in records, or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Please don't text diagnoses, medical records, or payment-card details. Text messaging is not for emergencies — call 911. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
